Refiloe Moahloli is a best-selling and award-winning author of 22 children’s books including How many ways can you say hello, Know my name, Dance to your own beat and How many ways can you say thank you. Her books are published by Penguin Random House South Africa and Pan Macmillan South Africa.

Her awards include a South African Literary Award, three South African Book Awards and an IBBY SA Picture Book. Her books have been published in multiple official South African languages.  We are one and Let’s play are also published internationally; with translations in German, Portuguese and Turkish.

Refiloe is from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape; she obtained a B.Comm degree in Information Systems from the University of Witwatersrand.  After a stint in the corporate world, an eye-opening assignment to Mumbai led her to pursuing her dream of becoming a full-time writer.

Refiloe is currently based in Johannesburg.
